On 28th July 2019, Nirvana Temple, Schloss Dillich, Germany, organized a group ordination ceremony to offer the merit on the auspicious occasion of King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun’s birthday. The ordination also hoped to promote the Buddhist teachings and encourage people of all races to learn and apply lessons from the Buddhist philosophy as they navigate the path to find the true happiness in life. Welcoming the participation of both Thais and foreigners, the day started off with morning merit making ceremony, following by the lunch offering ceremony, which took place around an hour before noon. The ordination ceremony later began with the head shaving ritual of the soon-to be-ordained monks and nuns. It proceeded with a series of religious rituals practiced as a part of the ordination ceremony led by Master Amnart Opaso and the monk members of the monastery.
