Despite being far away from home, Thai people in Germany were able to join the merit making ceremony during Songkran or Thai New Year’s national holiday. Master Amnart Opaso and other monk members of the monastery hosted the watering ceremony, which was joined by faithful Buddhists in Germany, following by a lunch offering ceremony, starting off the Thai New Year with wonderful blessings and positive energy and warmth, just like the beautiful weather of a blissful mid-April morning.
